Who are the creators of Uneek Collection?

The creator of Uneek Collection is Robert Courtney Collins (President). He has been assisted in solidifying and establishing the company by Kirk Mcclung (VP of Marketing & Public Relations) and Mike Cruz.(Graphic Designer)

What inspired you to jump into fashion?

A strong desire to make clothing that was more than just a fad or a trend, but clothing that was inspired by a deeper meaning and overall purpose. Clothing that made people think everytime they put one of our pieces on.

We love that you strive to unify nationalities by encouraging education and knowledge. Where did the inspiration for this come from?

I guess we just answered that. To go more in depth, it has something inside of me since a very early age. The desire to inspire people to be bigger than there skin color, financial status, or age has moved me to create a voice box. On top of this box it allows us to make a lot more noise then we ordinarily could.

What makes your line different and “Uneek” ?

Our line has been well planned and thought out. Our designs have been carefully crafted to use universal symbols that deliver meaning beyond their conceptual design. They combine elements that everyone can relate to. Besides there no clothing with an overall movement as deep and powerful as ours, and soon the world will know.

As a fashion designer, what are your most difficult challenges?

Our challenges come in finding retail outlets to give young designers a chance. We look at clothing everyday that doesn’t come close to us in quality, design or price. But we have a resolve and we won’t be denied!

As a fashion designer, what do you find most rewarding?

To see a design go from a mere thought or idea, and watch it grow before your eyes and then walk down a runway or get shot at a photoshoot is a feeling you can’t describe in words. It’s also rewarding to see people paying attention to our message and coming into the Uneek Fold.

Where are you based out of?

Detroit and L.A. …mainly Detroit.

Who is your primary target audience?

The future of Uneek is 18-35 year old men and women. Men are the primary concentration but we’re gearing up for our big womens launch coming real soon.

Currently, what’s your favorite or most popular design(s)?

We have several.  Quite frankly I love all of then.  I can leave home with out my Uneek Collection Signature V-neck though.

What’s in store for Uneek customers in the near future?
